The Yakutat Energy Fair was held on April 21 and 22, 2013. Our event was a resounding success!
Over 75 experts from around Alaska and the United States brought their knowledge and enthusiasm for renewable energy to Yakutat. Numerous seminars were held covering a range of subjects from marine renewables, to efficiency, biomass, wind energy and several other technologies.

Yakutat wishes to thank in particular the Alaska Energy Authority, Alaska Center for Energy and Power, and the Tlingit and Haida Regional Housing Authority for their strong participation, expertise and good ideas! The City and Borough also thanks Superintendent Rod Schug and his staff for the amazing job they accomplished in pulling together this event, including a delicious dinner for all attendees. Much gratitude also to the St. Elias Dancers, who left long-lasting good will and memories with our guests for far and wide.
